The trailhead for this hike is 10 miles north of Gardiner, MT on the NW border of Wyoming. It heads into Custer Gallatin National Forest land with views of the Absaroka Range of the Rocky Mountains and leads to the first and oldest dude ranch in Montana. The pine and spruce trees, the dirt path, the open air, the mountains in the background, with the finale at the dude ranch and creek is refreshing on a spring day.
